Our mission and dream is to promote and protect human rights and since 1996, we are striving to make our dream a reality - we believe that it could be a reality . To make it happen we advocate, research and undertake action at all possible levels; national, international and government, grass roots. We are focusing our efforts to prevent the abuses by empowering the people through Human Rights Education, as knowledge is power. We build partnerships to end grave abuses of the rights for achieving physical and mental integrity, freedom of religion, beliefs and expression and also freedom from discrimination for the whole humanity.

CAMPAIGN AGAINST TERRORISM

International Human Rights Organization is the first organization in the world who took this bold step to launch National Anti-Terrorism Movement to pullout the roots of the Terrorism from the soil of the earth.

  BACK GROUND

Terrorism is the challenge for humanity which is crashing the role of human rights. Our global village is converting into fear and terror from peace. It’s our collectively responsibility to fight against terrorism and protect our coming generation from this cancer. It’s the time to build the courage of our nations to eradicate this cancer from our globe.

Pakistan has been facing untoward and accelerated the state of terrorism since its War against Terrorism. The assassination of Quaid-e-Jamhuriyat and former Prime Minister Ms. Benazir Bhutto on December 27, 2007 was a sharp indication for an immediate and needed response for an initiating Anti-Terrorism Movement for reduction and eradication of terrorism through and across the country.

After the extreme activities of terrorists in district Swat Pakistan got a very serious thread and Government decided to deploy the armed forces in the effected areas. After the failure of peace deal Pakistan Army started a final and successful operation against Taliban terrorists. On the result 2.3 million people (IDP’s) left their homes due to extreme operation against terrorism. The operation of Pak Army is almost completed successfully.

Now this is the time to finish the ideology of Terrorism which required a “National awareness” to realize the duty to every citizen to protect their ideology of peace, harmony and tolerance.

In this regard International Human Rights Observer (IHRO) took this bold step to launch a National Anti-Terrorism Movement on 14 August 2009 to cut the roots of the terrorism by activating the civil societies, non-governmental organizations in collaboration with Government.
